Youth Club (FYC)

The Furzedown Youth Centre (FYC) runs a weekly youth club for young people aged 11-16.

The club takes place on Friday evenings from 6.00pm to 7.30pm in term time in the lower floor of St. James Community Hall on Welham Road.

Activities include table-tennis, snooker, table football and XBOX as well as organised games which sometimes take place in the hall of Mitcham Lane Baptist Church opposite. Crafts, baking, drama, street dance, candy-floss making and other activities are also sometimes on offer. Alternatively, you can just chill out, listen to music and chat on our comfy sofas with drinks and snacks from the café bar.

There are also occasional organised trips and activity weeks. The cost is 50p per session and the first taster session is free.

If you are interested in joining FYC or would like further details please contact Rev Geoff Vevers
