Unfortunately our services are currently suspended due to coronavirus social distancing measures. However, Sunday Services are being recorded and relayed from our homepage and Facebook page during this time, so please do tune in and join us.

All are very welcome to join us for our main Sunday service each week starting at 10:30am.

Our worship is informal and contemporary with a central place for the reading and preaching of the Bible.

You won’t be handed lots of books as you walk in the door and there is no particular dress code. Just come as you are! There is opportunity to receive prayer after (or during) the service for any who would like it.

Children are especially welcome at St. James. A children's corner is available during the service, and children and young people have the opportunity to join the creche, or a teaching group for their age after the opening time of worship.

On the first Sunday of each month our service is for all-ages together. Please see our 'Messy Sunday' page.

During the week, a short, said service of Holy Communion takes place in the Side Chapel (at the front of church) on Tuesday mornings at 10:30am.

In addition, there are usually special services for Christmas, Easter, and other significant dates in the church calendar.

From time to time, and during the month of August, we hold joint Sunday morning services across the Furzedown Churches.

We also meet jointly with members of the Furzedown Churches in the evening on the first and last Sundays of each month at St. Alban's and St.Paul’s churches.
